Tuberculosis (TB) is  a blood test used in identifying infections with Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria that causes Tuberculosis (TB).QuantiFERON-TB Gold+ testing can be performed during a single visit and does not require a second interpretation visit, as with tuberculin skin testing. The results of QuantiFERON-TB Gold+ testing are objective, do not require training to interpret, and are not subject to variability in reading methods

NON-DOT Physical

Basic physical - determines "fit for duty". Components include: basic vision, vitals, physical, dipstick UA & review of basic health history

A physical examination required by the Department of Transportation for drivers carrying commercial loads on public roads

Test used to determine if a person can safely lift 50-100#.

The TB skin test is performed by injecting a small amount of fluid (called tuberculin) into the skin on the lower part of the arm. A person given the tuberculin skin test must return within 48 to 72 hours to have a trained health care worker look for a reaction on the arm

Physician reviews OSHA questionnaire for respirator clearance and to determine if additional services are needed. 

Measures how well the lungs take in and release air. Respirator Clearance given based on the PFT and OSHA Questionnaire.

The procedure relies on taste, irritation, and smell while fitting the mask. Dependent on applicant's perception 

Uses an instrument that samples and measures airborne particulates inside the mask

The Titmus Vision exam utilizes a machine which is capable of testing near and distance vision, binocular vision, and peripheral vision.
